Joseph Pruitt, O.D.

Dr. Joseph Pruitt has been practicing optometry for over 18 years, with a clinical focus on ocular disease and a passion for enhancing patients’ quality of life through thoughtful, detail-driven care. Born and raised in Southern California, he earned his undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, and later went on to build a career rooted in care and community service.

Inspired by his very first eye exam at the age of seven, Dr. Pruitt knew early on that optometry was his calling. That sense of purpose has remained central throughout his career, which includes being appointed by the Governor of California to serve on the State Board of Optometry. A testament to his dedication and leadership in the field.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Pruitt is a regular volunteer in children’s extracurricular programs and enjoys giving back to families in the community. He is also an active member of his church, finding balance in his faith, family, and service.

Dr. Pruitt lives with his two children and their much-loved pug. He brings both professional expertise and heartfelt care to every patient he sees.
