Ashley Lockman, O.D.
Dr. Ashley Lockman brings a uniquely well-rounded background to her work in eye care, combining a passion for healthcare, public service, and patient advocacy. Originally from Wyoming, she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology/Criminal Justice and Sociology/Social Sciences at the University of Wyoming. She also holds both a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA), before completing her Doctor of Optometry (OD) at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon.
Dr. Lockman has been practicing optometry since 2019 and is especially drawn to complex cases where careful listening and attention to clinical detail make a difference in a patient’s daily life. Her favorite part of eye care is helping people improve their vision while solving problems that affect their quality of life.
Throughout her career, Dr. Lockman has been recognized for academic excellence, including receiving the Thurman Arnold Book Award and being inducted into both Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Sigma Kappa honor societies. She has presented research in psychology and law and continues to be actively involved in national optometric advocacy, including efforts with the American Optometric Association in Washington, D.C.
Committed to service locally and globally, Dr. Lockman has completed outreach trips to Peru and Cambodia, providing hundreds of patients with eye exams, glasses, and ocular health care in underserved communities.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her two children and their three beloved pets. She lives in Colorado and loves hiking, reading, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
