Local Support for Your Child’s Vision Needs

Our pediatric eye exams are performed via secure telehealth with licensed optometrists. While the eye doctor provides care remotely, your child will be supported in person by our experienced staff, including Angela, Ron, and sometimes even Oakley, our friendly office dog.

What to Expect During the Eye Exam

Our pediatric eye exams include:

  • Visual acuity testing (distance and near vision)

  • Prescription check for glasses

  • Eye coordination and tracking assessments

  • Screening for common childhood vision issues

  • Guidance from our in-office team at every step

If glasses are needed, our team will assist with frame fitting and lens options, including same-day service on most single vision prescriptions, thanks to our on-site lab.

Signs Your Child Might Need an Eye Exam

Routine eye exams are recommended annually for school-aged children, but you may want to schedule sooner if you notice:

  • Squinting or tilting the head

  • Frequent headaches or eye rubbing

  • Holding books or screens too close

  • Complaints about blurry vision or trouble seeing the board

  • Difficulty focusing in school

Early detection can make a big difference, in the classroom and at home.

Routine Vision Care Only

Bright Eyes Clinic provides routine vision exams only. We do not diagnose or treat medical eye conditions, and we do not prescribe medications. If your child is experiencing sudden vision loss, eye pain, or other medical symptoms, we can refer you to an appropriate provider.

Not sure what type of exam your child needs? Call our team; we’re happy to help you determine the best next step.
