Contact Lens Exams in Hopkinsville
We provide routine contact lens exams for patients looking to start or continue wearing standard soft contact lenses. Whether you're a new wearer or returning for an update, our team ensures the process is easy, supportive, and tailored to your vision needs.
All exams are performed via secure telehealth with a licensed optometrist, with hands-on help from our local team here in Hopkinsville.

What to Expect During Your Exam
A contact lens exam is different from a regular glasses exam. Because lenses sit directly on the eye, your provider will evaluate fit, comfort, and eye surface characteristics to ensure the lenses work safely and effectively.

What Your Visit Includes
- Pretesting and vision assessment
A virtual consultation with a licensed optometrist
A review of your daily habits and contact lens goals
In-person support for insertion, removal, and hygiene (especially for first-time wearers)
Our goal is to make sure your lenses not only work, but feel right, too.
Contact Lens Types We Fit
We offer contact lens fittings for routine soft lenses only. This includes:
- Bifocal or multifocal contact lenses
Daily disposable lenses
Bi-weekly and monthly disposables
Standard lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, or mild astigmatism
Select FDA-approved colored lenses (if prescription qualifies)
We will help you select a lens type based on your prescription, lifestyle, and wearing schedule.

What We Don’t Offer
To keep our care focused and accurate, Bright Eyes Clinic does not provide:
Scleral lenses or rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lenses
Ortho-k or overnight reshaping lenses
Prism lenses or complex prescriptions
Contact lenses for medical or disease-related conditions
If your vision needs fall outside our scope, we’ll refer you to a provider who specializes in those services.
Getting Your Prescription
Once your exam is complete and the lenses are confirmed to fit well, your provider will issue a contact lens prescription. Our team will help you understand your next steps, whether that’s ordering lenses online, picking up a sample pair, or scheduling a future appointment.
